Tehachapi City Council Recap KCFD Local Coverage Discussion

We talk about the recent Tehachapi City Council meeting and recap the activity. We highlight TPD Dispatcher Rae Budge who was honored with Dispatcher of the Year by Tehachapi VFW Post 12114, and recognized for her dedication to our community by Congressman McCarthy, Senator Shannon Grove, Assemblyman Fong, Supervisor Scrivner, and Mayor Davies. We also recognized Virginia Sheridan, Bill Lee and Vanessa Villanueva who are local business owners for operating their businesses inthe City of Tehachapi. Finance Director Hamed Jones presented the mid-year budget to council, and Jay Schlosser presented a planning document for the Housing Element Update. A discussion with the Kern County Fire Department took place following a letter received by a Tehachapi resident following a recent house fire.
