Miami Hurricanes SCRIMMAGE STANDOUTS & Where The Canes Stand With Air Noland & Other Recruits!
The Miami Hurricanes held their first spring football scrimmage over the weekend and some true freshmen really stood out. Rueben Bain had back to back sacks and has been difficult to block since spring practices began. Francis Mauigoa has been getting starter's reps at right tackle and has really impressed the coaching staff. The Washington Twins, linebacker Bobby and WR Robby have both been solid so far.
Brad Tejeda from CanesInsight.com joined Alex Donno to break down everything we know about the first scrimmage, held this past Saturday on the Greentree Practice Fields. QB Tyler Van Dyke continues to build chemistry with WR Colbie Young. WRs Xavier Restrepo, Jacolby George and Isaiah Horton also had strong reps in the scrimmage.
The Hurricanes had a massive recruiting weekend to coincide with their most recent practices. Alex and Brad break down where Miami stands with 4-star QB Air Noland, 5-star DL David Stone, 4-star DL Kamarion Franklin, 4-star receivers Chance Robinson and JoJo Trader and 5-star WR Jeremiah Smith.
