Episode 137: Cry-Baby (1990)

This week at The Film Club we conclude March with a Bonus Episode and it’s about the John Waters cult classic, Cry-Baby. The film tells the story of Wade “Cry-Baby” Walker the leader of the gang Drapes who falls in love with a square named Allison who’s tired of always being good. The two are from opposite sides of the track and are determined to be together despite their differences. Allison’s jealous ex boyfriend frames Cry-Baby which results in him getting arrested and causing a rift in his relationship with Allison. Can Cry-Baby win Allison back? Or will she become a square for good? Join us as we dive into the world of Cry-Baby.
