Being of Service with Matt Drayton

This week, it is my honor to introduce you to Matt Drayton! 

 

Sergeant Major Matthew R. Drayton was born in Savannah, GA, in an underprivileged neighborhood. Matt joined the military to leave his environment and become financially independent. Little did he know at the time that enlisting would lead into a successful military career spanning almost three decades. 

 

Matt is a decorated combat veteran who has led and mentored hundreds of men and women. He is also a corporate speaker, consultant, and leadership expert with experience in government and commercial commerce.

 

Matt knows what it takes to overcome adversity, to become successful, and how to lead and motivate others to maximize their potential. 

 

In this episode, we’ll explore:

• The power of words and being of service to others when you share your story

• Why integrity, gratitude, and compassion are crucial for leaders

• The work he is doing to help Black leaders and some of the strategies he teaches
