EXPECT TODAY’S ARRAIGNMENT TO BE LOUD AND MESSY AS THE DEFENSE AND PROSECUTORS ARGUE THEIR CLAIMS AND MOTIONS SAYS PROF. BRADLEY SMITH

The prosecution is based on an exceedingly questionable legal theory, questionable on a couple of different points and it is a real abuse of prosecutorial judgement. D.A. Alvin Bragg apparently wants to get Trump for falsification of business records which is a misdemeanor in New York and on top of that, the Statute of Limitations ran out.  Then Bragg wants to make it a felony by tying it to another alleged crime paying hush money to Stormy Daniels.  Smith says that wasn’t a campaign expenditure and the whole case falls apart.  Did Bragg really think about what’s good for the country?  Where are the responsible leaders to stop political persecution?  Smith’s afraid it’s going to get worse before it gets better.  Ultimately people are going to have to revolt at the polls.
