Feel More Confident, Day 4 Meditations of Marcus Aurelius
Be guided in a breathing technique to start your day with focus and clarity.
This week's series of meditations are based on the classic book, "Meditations of Marcus Aurelius," who was a Roman emperor who ruled from 161-180 A.D. You'll be guided in meditations from his book. His reflections are based on Stoic philosophy which emphasizes living a peaceful life by practicing self-control to attain inner peace by overcoming adversity, and honoring your true nature -- not forcing yourself to be a particular way. This is so aligned with how I share meditation so I'm excited about this week's series.
This is part 4 of a 7-Part Meditations of Marcus Aurelius, Episodes 604-610.
You are guided with a different meditation technique every day that is customized for the week's theme. Weave the techniques into the most stressful times of your day to manage difficult emotions. The meditation techniques help to calm the "monkey mind," when your thoughts continuously interrupt your meditation.
