Day 97: Moses reminds the Israelites of God's power and love | Jesus challenges the Pharisees

In Deuteronomy 6-8, Moses instructs the Israelites on the importance of obedience to God, emphasizing love, fear, and service to Him as the key to their survival and prosperity in the Promised Land. He reminds them of their covenant with God, the necessity of passing down their faith to future generations, and warns against the dangers of pride and forgetting God once they become prosperous.

He laments how they have lost sight of justice and the love of God, leading to a dire warning about the judgment that awaits them.
