Matt Daniels is a pro trail runner for Nike from Boulder, CO. He just won the Gorge 50k in spectacular fashion and will soon be racing the Canyons 100k for a chance to race into Western States. In this conversation, we discuss what makes Matt unique, the highs and lows of his running journey, Matt's military service, dealing with the anxiety of competition, the value of training partners, his race at Gorge, and look ahead towards Canyons.
