Phil Chan on Reimagining Problematic Classics

For years, Phil Chan—writer, educator, consultant, choreographer, and Final Bow for Yellowface co-founder—has been fighting to improve Asian representation in dance. His latest book, "Banishing Orientalism: Dancing Between Exotic and Familiar," examines the history of Orientalism in ballet.
