Mina Anwar is best known for playing PC Maggie Habib in the sitcom The Thin Blue Line by Ben Elton staring Rowan Atkinson. She was also in the film Infidel, with Omid Djalili and Matt Lucas, Razzledazzle, Shameless, Upstart Crow, The Invisibles, The Sarah Jane Adventures, Scoop, 106 episodes of House of Anubis, Happy Valley, In the Club, Marley’s Ghost, The Worst Witch, Terms and Conditions and Doctor Who. In 2017 she originated the role of Ray in the new musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie at the Crucible Theatre and continued her role for the West End transfer. She has just finished a long run in Life of Pi in the West End. Mina is a classically trained mezzo soprano and she sings big band jazz and sometimes sings backing vocals for The Charlatans.
