Human Minds, Brains & Nuclear Warfare | Professor Moran Cerf - 569
I have been eagerly anticipating my conversation with Professor Moran Cerf for some time now. He is a professor of neuroscience and business with a PhD in neuroscience, an MA in Philosophy, and a BSc in Physics. In layman's terms, he is a professional white-hat hacker turned neuroscientist and human behavior expert who has been tasked by the US government with rethinking the current US Nuclear launch protocol. Additionally, he recently authored a cartoon book, adding to the fascinating diversity of his mind.
During our conversation, I ask Moran some hard-hitting questions that delve into the complexities of the brain, mind, thinking, and behavior. For example, we explore whether thinking is a function of the brain or the mind, whether we truly control our thoughts and behaviors, and how we define our sense of self.
