Miami Hurricanes Land Verbal Commitment From CB Dylan Day! Canes Making Progress With Top DL
The Miami Hurricanes have landed a verbal commitment from 2024 cornerback Dylan Day from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Day has been wanted by Canes defensive coordinator Lance Guidry since before he arrived at Miami. He will likely play nickel/star at Miami. Day has great instincts, coverage skills and excels at creating turnovers. Day is a late-riser in recruiting circles, recently receiving offers from schools like Ole Miss, Mississippi State, West Virginia, Arizona State and Georgia Tech in addition to Miami. Day is the fourth verbal commit to join Miami’s class of 2024, along with kicker Abram Murray, 3-star quarterback Judd Anderson and 4-star WR Chance Robinson.
Guest Brad Tejeda from Canes Insight joins host Alex Donno to break down Day’s commitment and his likely role at Miami. Brad talks about the importance of The U expanding their pipeline into the state of Louisiana. The guys discuss who might be next for Miami in the class of 2024. The Hurricanes are making progress with top defensive linemen like Justin Scott, David Stone, TA Cunningham, Colin Simmons and others. How much of a shot do the Canes have to land 5-star receiver JoJo Trader? Brad shares some of his thoughts on the Miami Hurricanes spring game. He was impressed by the performance of early enrollee freshman wideout Nathaniel “Ray Ray” Joseph.
