The Strong Life Project Podcast
Education:Self-Improvement
Hey there, it’s Shaun O’Gorman from The Strong Life Project, and in today’s episode, we’re talking about how kids fall 1,000 times, and what we as adults can learn from their determination and resilience.
As adults, we often get bogged down by the fear of failure and the pressure to succeed. We become hesitant to take risks and try new things, and we give up too easily when we face setbacks or obstacles.
But kids have a different approach. They have a natural curiosity and a willingness to explore and experiment. They’re not afraid to fall, and when they do, they get back up and try again.
So, what can we learn from their example? First of all, we need to embrace failure as a natural part of the learning process. Every time we fall, we have an opportunity to learn, grow, and improve. We can’t let the fear of failure hold us back from pursuing our dreams and goals.
Secondly, we need to develop resilience and grit. We need to cultivate a growth mindset that focuses on the effort we put in, rather than just the outcome. We need to celebrate our progress and learn from our mistakes.
Finally, we need to remember that we’re never too old to learn and try new things. We can take inspiration from the fearlessness of children and approach life with a sense of curiosity and adventure.
