Miami Hurricanes Get A Verbal Commitment From 2024 RB CHRIS WHEATLEY-HUMPHREY, More SPEED To The 305
The Miami Hurricanes have landed a verbal commitment from speedy 2024 running back Chris Wheatley-Humphrey from South Broward HS. “Hellcat Chris” ran for 1,166 yards last season on 16.7 yards per carry and scored 8 touchdowns as a junior. He has enjoyed his recent visits to The U and officially announced his commitment on Monday evening.
Brian Smith from All Hurricanes joined host Alex Donno to break down the Wheatley-Humphrey commitment and explain why he’s underrated as a current 3-star prospect. Brian describes how Chris’ speed will benefit the Canes, and how he will fit into a future backfield with 2023 freshmen Mark Fletcher and Christopher Johnson.
