Episode 138 - BTK - Dennis Rader

Dennis Rader was a family man, the head of a church, a Boy Scout leader, and the infamous serial killer known as BTK. He had desires at a young age of torturing and binding women from a young age, and when he was 29 years old, finally acted on those desires.

In total, Dennis was responsible for murdering 10 people, by binding, torturing them, and killing them, hence the moniker, BTK.

For over 30 years, Dennis evaded the police and put up a façade to family and friends. On the 30 year anniversary of his first murder, newspapers started covering the case again and Dennis could not handle the fact that they were telling his story. Due to his narcissism, BTK started sending multiple messages to the police, with once important question of if a floppy disk could be traced back to the computer it was used on. The police, obviously, told him it could not, which was a lie. BTK sent a floppy disk to the police with more letters that led them directly to his church, where he had used the computer to create the contents of the floppy disk.
