In this podcast we go over how to self-assess your hip and ankle mobility, common issues we see and how to correct your mobility for better performance and recovery.
Our hips is what our spine rests on and is incredibly important to have strong glutes and pelvic floor to keep the hips in a proper position. Lack of good hip mobility can affect proper squat and deadlift patterns.
The ankle, or lack of ankle mobility can lead to issues up the chain. Since the foot is the first piece of contact with the ground, our brain processes a lot of information from the foot and lack of ankle mobility can prevent us from squatting properly.
