The Texas Longhorns put on a show for fans Saturday, capping off spring practice with the annual Orange-White game at Darrell K. Royal Texas Memorial Stadium.
Unlike last year, Texas had the health and depth to field two full squads and a lot to show for their work during the spring session. Perhaps the biggest storylines of the game were the performances of Quinn Ewerrs, who was officially named the starter following the game, and the impressive arm of backup quarterback Maalik Murphy.
There are still questions on both sides of the ball, with players held out or given non-contact jerseys due to injury concerns. Still, overall the vibe following the game is positive for Texas and setting up lofty offseason expectations.
