Amarah was soon back home from her train ride to the mountains. DJ Flip was worried the whole time Amarah was gone. He would secretly and often ride by her house to see if she was there. There was no sign of her. Flip was still worried about Amarah getting attacked by Terrance Lewis and his gangsters though she lived in a good neighborhood. What Flip feared the most is what happened. Amarah got attacked.
Amarah had stopped one morning to the coffee shop to get a breakfast sandwich. On her way out, she was attacked by a gangster sent by Terrance Lewis to kidnap her. He grabbed her from behind but Amarah stomped hard on the foot of the attacker with her heel and gave him an elbow strike to the stomach and ribs. Amarah ran from the gangster and ran into another one. But before he could grab her, out of nowhere appeared Sphinx Bazel, and he punched the gangster in the face. He punched him so hard, the gangster hit the ground.
Then the first gangster that attacked Amarah pulled a gun on Bazel. Bazel somehow took the gun from him, and as he was taking the gun, the gun fired and it fell to the ground as the gangster wrestled him. Bazel pushed the gangster into the coffee shop window.
Amarah stood stunned. Bazel looked at her and asked, “Are you alright?” Amarah nodded her head.
The owner of the coffee shop looked upset. Bazel wrote a check to the owner to pay for the damage to the shop.
Amarah got into her car and waited before she drove off.
Bazel walked up to her with his long Egyptian beard, neat dreadlocks, and Egyptian headdress and said, “Are you going to be okay going home? I can follow you and make sure that you will get there safe.”
Amarah didn’t want Bazel to know where she lived. She wasn’t sure about the Sphinx man she had left behind in Egypt that pointed a missle gun at her. Amarah didn’t trust him though he saved her life. She said to Bazel, “Thank you Bazel. I’ll be fine going home.”
Then Bazel thought and he asked, “Where’s that Boyfriend of yours? Are you still with him?“
Amarah didn’t want Bazel to know anything. She didn’t want him to know that her & DJ Flip had been spending time apart.
Amarah: You leave my boyfriend alone.”
Bazel: I’m not going to bother him, Amarah. I’ve been jealous. I’m sorry about the things I’ve done. I just wish that you had never left me.
Amarah: What are you doing here?
Bazel: I’m here to see Domino Storm. I’m going to let you be on your way.
Amarah looked sad and wanted to open up to Sphinx Bazel. She said: Everyone’s been jealous. Gangsters have been after my boyfriend & now they’re after me.
Bazel: Is there something I can do? If you ever need me for anything, call me. I still love you. I’ll do anything for you. Although I’m seeing someone else.
Amarah: No, I’ll be okay.
Bazel: Please forgive me Amarah, and don’t think you can’t ask me for help. We can still be friends.
Amarah: Okay, I can forgive you I guess.
Bazel: You know how to reach me if you ever need me.
Amarah soon drove off and left Sphinx Bazel standing alone. She forgave Bazel because she felt like she might need him again one day.
