365 Brothers - Listening to Black Men
Society & Culture:Relationships
Don Davis received a vision for a church in Austin, Texas. Forty-one years in ministry, this pastor and apostle has built that church and helped build and grow many more churches throughout Texas.
A question about his favorite song leads to a story of learning from a childhood bully. And the stories keep coming. He finds wisdom from all his adventures and misadventures. Sure, he was a star Long Beach Poly Football Player back in the day, but that didn't keep him from finding his way to a little trouble...like the time he lied to his parents about taking LSD.
All the shenanigans are behind him. Now he is devoted to The Word. He also plays with words. Expect a book of poetry from this pastor.
Don's favorite song: Let It Lay by Les McCann.
Don's favorite words: God is a God of principle, process and paradox.
