Yuri’s Night is a global celebration held annually on, or close to, April 12th. Commemorating both Yuri Gagarin becoming the first human to venture into space on April 12, 1961, and the inaugural launch of the first space shuttle (STS-1) on April 12, 1981.come and celebrate Yuri's Night with us at the National Space Centre on 9th April.
