This episode is all about my experience running the Hellbender 100 mile trail race held in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. This race climbs over 24000 feet in elevation, and takes you to the top of Mt. Mitchell. This was my first 100, and if you are running this epic race or crewing a runner, this episode will hopefully be helpful resource. My VERY special guest is my husband and crew, Jonathan. He will talk about his experience and the knowledge he gained from crewing me throughout the race. Enjoy! Correction on the podcast…Carrie Baris (along with the Run 828 Foundation) is the race director of this years Hellbender as of January. She is amazing, and with the support of the foundation this race will be epic! Follow her on Instagram: @riderunreadsnack
