Episode 61: Being imperfect is okay with Becca Cho
We are so glad to be bringing an episode we recorded in January to you today! Becca Cho joined us in the studio near the end of her pregnancy with her third baby - a precious girl born in late February. We're so glad we were able to record Becca's story before Quinn Marie came! Becca begins her story by telling us about life growing up in South Dakota. She was raised in a Christian family, with both parents following the Lord and being actively involved in church. When Becca was entering her senior year of high school, she came home from a church camp and discovered that her parents' marriage had fallen apart. This rocked Becca's world as she began to question why someone following after the Lord would make certain decisions and what her faith would look like moving forward. It was a slow fade, but Becca soon found herself out of church and falling into bad relationships. She moved to Seattle to become a professional chef and eventually moved to Arizona to begin her career. A series of situations slowly moved Becca's heart to actively follow the Lord again and thus a journey to accepting God's grace in imperfection. Her faith became her own, not anyone else's. She was especially drawn the God through the birth of her son and she and her husband Joon wanted God and the church to be a priority in their family's life. Your heart will be encouraged as Becca describes the moments that reminded her of God's grace and her passion to leave a lasting faith legacy will inspire you in your relationships with your children, spouse and overall community. We're thankful for Becca's heart in remembering that imperfection is okay with Christ! Today (4/26) is also Becca's birthday - Happy Birthday Becca! 🎉🎉
