Cleveland Cavaliers get EMBARRASSED by the New York Knicks; eliminated in 5 + Tanner Bibee dominates
The Cleveland Cavaliers got flat out embarrassed by the New York Knicks in the first round of the NBA's playoffs.
New York won two games in Cleveland & two in MSG to secure a 4-1 series win.
Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley & Jarrett Allen were supposed to be a young core good enough to take on the best in the East.
Instead, none of them looked ready for the moment and were all outplayed by their New York counterparts.
The Cavs have a lot of questions to answer about the team's future and not so much time to do it, as the clock on this team's championship window is rapidly ticking away.
On the positive side of things, Tanner Bibee dazzled in his debut for the Cleveland Guardians on Wednesday. The rookie struck out eight batters in five-plus innings of work and only allowed a single run.
Plus, the NFL Draft kicks off tonight. The Cleveland Browns don't have a pick in the first round but that doesn't mean we won't be paying attention to what our AFC North division rivals will be doing.
