It's great to have modern medicine, isn't it? But here's the reality: We're still going to die. Every single one of us. Because every single one of us is sinful. We need more than treatments or vaccines or vitamins. Know what it is?
We need Jesus! Here's his promise: "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die" (John 11:25–26). Jesus gives life even in the face of death. He did what we could never do, which was live perfectly and die a sacrificial death for us. He rose from the dead for us and for our salvation!
Now he promises: "The one who believes in me will live, even though they die." Trust in Jesus for a life that never ends!
