The new James Bond... Living on the edge. It was finally time to give Roger some well earned rest with Timothy Dalton taking over the role. The franchise opted for a more grounded Bond with long term director John Glen overseeing the new direction to give us The Living Daylights. When Bond helps with the defection of Soviet General Georgi Koskov to the West, he discovers a Russian plot to assassin spies called Smiert Spionam but all is not what it seems. It's a film that neither Tom or Joe have really talked about up until now, potentially making it one of the more forgotten entries in the franchise but does it deserve to be remembered or is it another John Glen misfire?
