In this inspiring episode, Leigh shares her journey from a dare to try out for her high school wrestling team to becoming a 2x All-American for Missouri Valley College, making six national teams, and winning bronze at the 2015 World Wrestling Championships. She also discusses how her experiences in the U.S. Army Reserve shaped her wrestling career and shares valuable tips for aspiring wrestlers to achieve success on and off the mat.
In addition to her wrestling achievements, Leigh is also a proud mother who continued to train while pregnant and successfully competed after giving birth. She shares her experiences of balancing motherhood and training, and the challenges and rewards of being a wrestler and a mother.
