The Fox Sister's tale is full of embellishment, wild accusations, varying accounts and details lost forever to the annals of time. But there were indisputable events that took place. Brutally honest. Embarrassingly revelatory. Of a childhood prank gone bad. A creation of young minds and bodies, exploited by those who should've known better. In a confession's wake...lay angry spiritualists. Smirking skeptics. And a recanting that would leave people wondering to this day.

But when someone reveals the ways and means of their deception beyond question...I'm inclined to believe it.
