Leafs Pre-Post-Mortem w/ James Mirtle

There’s a reason “Marner and Matthews” is still trending on Twitter this morning. JD Bunkis reacts to last night’s Leafs loss to fall behind 0-3 in the series, and hear from Auston Matthews post-game who doesn’t seem too perturbed by it all. He looks at the “Shana-plan”, Kyle Dubas’ “core four” and if this will be their last ride. To figure out what can be done to try to save this series (and jobs), he brings on the Senior Managing Editor at The Athletic, James Mirtle! They look at this team, the core, the players that were brought in at the deadline, and where this franchise goes next. Every and anything should be on the table for the Leafs organization, especially if they do get swept in the second round. They then dive into if Kyle Dubas’ has faltered in attaching Sheldon Keefe to this team and if it could be the downfall for both (11:23).
