FREED from DEATH ROW- Herman Lindsey, Florida's 23rd Death Row Exoneree
My guest for this episode was Florida's 23rd death row exoneree, Herman Lindsey.
Herman was falsely convicted for the murder of a pawn shop employee during a robbery in 1994 in a trial which has since been recognized as one of Florida's worst murder convictions given the lack of evidence placing Mr Lindsey at the scene.
Herman told me about how he felt when he realized that the state was trying to convict him of a murder that he was not involved in and his thoughts as he was convicted and that he had been sentenced to the death penalty.
We spoke about life in prison, how he went about appealing the conviction and the effects that his incarceration had on his life post-prison.
