This morning we discuss the emotional challenge mourners may face saying Kaddish. We present a startling insight of the Kotzker Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel, then a transcendent context to saying Kaddish provided by Rabbi Maurice Lamm. We share the interpretation of The Rav, Rabbi Yosef Soloveitchik, on the person who kicks the door of their Sukkah as they leave it, and a poignant letter written by Rabbi Yitzchak Hutner.
Michael Whitman is the senior rabbi of ADATH Congregation in Hampstead, Quebec, and an adjunct professor at McGill University Faculty of Law.
