Jennifer Barrett is the Chief Education Officer at Acorns, a financial wellness app with more than 8.5 million users, and the founding editor of its popular money site, Grow. She previously held management roles, including: General Manager at Hearst Digital over the Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, Redbook and Seventeen digital brands; Personal Finance Editor at CNBC Digital; and SVP and Editor-in-Chief of DailyWorth, a female-focused financial media company. She’s a contributor for Forbes and has also written about money for publications such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, Worth, Money, and Newsweek, where she was a staff writer and editor for seven years. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two sons.
She is also the author of “Think Like A Breadwinner.”
