This morning we discuss the heartbreaking and heartwarming human aspect of organ transplantation. I narrate the video of Rabbi Leo Dee and his children - Tali, Keren, and Yehuda- at Beilinson Hospital, as they meet the doctors and organ recipients whose lives were saved by the organ donations of their wife and mother, Lucy Dee, after she and two of her daughters were murdered in a terrorist attack on Passover. Michael Whitman is the senior rabbi of ADATH Congregation in Hampstead, Quebec, and an adjunct professor at McGill University Faculty of Law. ADATH is a modern orthodox synagogue community in suburban Montreal, providing Judaism for the next generation.
