Miami Hurricanes Land WR Shemar Kirk & DL Anthony Campbell Through PORTAL, Huge Visit Weekend
The Miami Hurricanes landed two more important commitments through the transfer portal! JUCO wide receiver Shemar Kirk and ULM defensive lineman Anthony Campbell both picked Miami on Saturday night. Shemar Kirk has caught 76 passes for 1,446 yards and 15 touchdowns over his past two seasons at Reedley College. Campbell recorded a solid 74.4 run stopping grade last season at Louisiana Monroe.
Host Alex Donno breaks down these new arrivals and explains who both can compete to start and at the very least, add quality depth. Miami landed Kirk just 24 hours after Bama transfer receiver Tyler Harrell. Canes have quickly revolutionized the wide receiver room. Donno also breaks down a busy weekend of unofficial visits at The U including appearances from 5-star players like WR JoJo Trader, CB Ellis Robinson IV, DT David Stone, EDGE Dylan Stewart, 4-stars in TE Caleb Odom, S Zaquan Patterson, S Jaylen Heyward and many more. Donno notes that 4-star CB Jamari Howard just de-committed from Michigan State and will likely be a UM target. Meanwhile, his HS teammate, quarterback Max Lawrence, just committed to Miami as a preferred walk on!
