No limits. No fears. No substitutes. After a 6 year hiatus, the Bond franchise returned with GoldenEye which had a new producer, Barbara Broccoli, a new director, Martin Campbell and a new Bond with Pierce Brosnan. 9 years after 006 is killed on a mission in Russia, Bond is sent to track down the Janus group who are connected with stealing the satellite EMP weapon GoldenEye. The film was a big hit and started a revival for Bond, appealing to a new audience and keeping Bond relevant. It's the one Tom has been excited to revisit but how is it? Does it still hold up as a successful reinvention or should we all stick to the N64 game instead?
