Don't let anxiety hijack you into living in an imaginary future.
Curtis Chang, who is on the faculty at Duke Divinity School and co-hosts a podcast with David French, joins to talk about his new book: The Anxiety Opportunity: How Worry is the Doorway to Your Best Self. He shares his deeply personal story of debilitating anxiety and how he discovered an alternative approach to overcoming it—one that sees anxiety as the path to our best selves in Christ. Later, an interview with Amy Boucher Pye on her work Transforming Love: How Friendship with Jesus Changes Us, which zeroes in on friendship with Jesus--as exemplified by Mary, Marth and Lazarus.
In addition, we chat on concerning and encouraging statistics out of the Southern Baptist denomination, and Beth Moore's recent comments that the leaders of America are virtually amoral.
