011: Interview with Audra Bullock of Tidewater Friends of Foster Care

May is National Foster Care Awareness Month and to learn more, Dustin sat down (virtually) with Audra Bullock.

Audra is the Founder & President of Tidewater Friends of Foster Care, a local nonprofit organization that is committed to raising awareness of the needs of children in foster care and increasing the number of available foster family homes. Tidewater Friends of Foster Care also works to provide enrichment programs that bridge the gap between what is available from public services and those elements that are essential to a healthy, happy and thriving childhood.

This Saturday, May 20th, TFFC is hosting a Community Summit at Old Dominion University with speakers such as Mary McGowan of ATTACh on the science behind attachment, Barbara Stewart of Made 4 Connection on Trust-based Relational Intervention and Dr .Angela Hopkins on her personal experience in the foster care system.
