86. I’m Fine vs. I’m Okay Today we continue the idea of suppressing feelings and anxiety and its consequences of turning into depression. We discuss the most common response to, “how are you?“ The answer is almost inevitably, “I’m fine.“ The problem with this is, it’s not true the majority of the time, so we have redefined the word fine, and also giving you an alternative acronym with the word Okay. It is important in writing your own eating disorder recovery process to be authentic to yourself, but it can be dangerous to let the general public know all that you’re going through as their responses will inevitably lead to you doing more homework.
