27. How Much Should I Eat? Today we do a deep dive into what refeeding should look like on your authentic eating disorder recovery journey to through and beyond recovery. It can be crazy, making to be scared of food and have a Dietitian triple the amount of food that you need to eat, as you sit around the dinner table with a mountain of food in front of you. This can actually be more crazy making than the actual disorder itself. The way I like to go about refeeding is striving for life, participation, and the amount of food you know is normal. If there is weight, restoration needed, supplements may be used in non-food times, which keeps the goal of eating normally and participating in life at the forefront.
