This week at The Film Club we’re talking about a true Walt Disney classic film, Dumbo! The film tells the story of a cute young circus elephant named Jumbo but cruelly named Dumbo because of his large ears. Dumbo is bullied by everyone in the circus as well as its guests, and when one guest physically messes with Dumbo’s ears his mother fights back to protect her baby but is put into confinement. Dumbo must now take on the circus alone but luckily befriends a mouse named Timothy Q. Mouse who looks out for Dumbo and tries to help Dumbo find his true talent in the circus. Can Timothy help Dumbo become a star and help get his mother out of confinement? Or will Dumbo float around to different acts in the circus? Join us as we dive into the world of Dumbo.
