“I was 14 years old, and some friends from school had a band that they made over the summer while I was gone, and their guitar player singer moved to Vermont. They are like looking for a singer and I’m like, ‘Hey man, I’ll sing.’ And their like, ’Hey man, you can’t sing.’ So, I showed up for an audition and their like, ‘You’re in!’”
Tommie Silva is a lead singer and a long distance runner. In this special episode, Tommie chats with Luis about how he got started singing, his stage name, his first job, his first audition, getting kick out of his first band, how he got into running, upcoming races, and how he met his wife.
