Edie Stringfellow is the Director of Diversity & Inclusion at MassBio, an organization dedicated to advancing Massachusett's leadership in the life sciences to grow the industry, add value to the healthcare system, and improve patient lives. We wanted to talk with Edie as someone who is on the forefront of the work toward finding a solution to COVID-19 from a diversity and inclusion lens. Before our interview with Edie, we spent some time processing the deaths of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Muhlaysia Booker, George Floyd, and Tony McDade, as well as the video of Amy Cooper's dangerously racist language toward Chris Cooper in Central Park. Please note that this was recorded last Thursday, before the weekend's protests and violence occurred (which we will have more feels on in an upcoming episode).
