My guest today describes herself as ‘creepy observer’, which perhaps explains her lyrical knack for crafting couplets like an emotional sieve - particular and memorable turns of phrase with just enough space for a listener to sift their own lives through. Whether turning heir inimitable sonorous voice to her own arresting indie-folk songs or the addictive grind of her band Phantastic Furniture, her music tugs insistently at your ears. Her debut album ‘Don’t Let the Kids Win’ is due out October 7.
