Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood (2019) review / dir. Quentin Tarantino
The gang rewrites history as they review Tarantino's 9th film starring Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, and a whole cast of supporting characters. This week we review Once Upon a Time... in Holllywood. Follow Rick Dalton and Cliff Booth as they traverse the end of their careers in 1970's Hollywood. Dalton as a washed up western actor, and Booth his driver/stunt double. While we get a big bit from their slice of life, the story inches closer to the inevitable killing of Sharon Tate and her friends IRL. This is a period piece after all. How did the gang enjoy the re-writing of the Charles Manson chapter in American history? Tune in to find out!
How well will the story land for Pete and Joseph, having no history with the characters? Will we go back to the 1997 series because this was so well executed? Will we ban Tyler from the show? Tune in to find out.
