Anonymous ACC Coach Gives Miami Hurricanes Take, Can Miami FLIP This Recruit? Former Canes WR Joins
Athlon Sports has predicted an 8-4 season and 4th place ACC finish for the Miami Hurricanes in 2023. The publication has released their season previews and they quoted an anonymous ACC assistant coach for a full take on the Miami Hurricanes. The coach described his shock for how poorly Miami played despite their talent in 2022 and how former offensive coordinator Josh Gattis was problematic. He painted a rosier picture for 2023 if Miami’s talent is up to the task of rising to the occasion under more aggressive play callers on both sides of the football. Host Alex Donno reacts to his take and offers his critiques on what the anonymous coach may have left out of his assessment. Donno describes the latest recruiting buzz on Georgia commit, safety Jaylen Heyward who Miami is trying to flip, and Salem, VA linebacker Chris Cole. Cole is the nephew of former Miami LB Rohan Marley.
Alex welcomes The Truth Teller Bruce Warner and former Hurricanes receiver Darryl Spencer to the show. Spencer won two national titles at The U in 1989 and 1991. He recapped the amazing battles on the Greentree Practice Field and how Miami can get back to that competition level. He talked about his former teammate Mario Cristobal and why he is the right man to turn The U around. Spencer gave his predictions on how Miami will look next season.
