Imagine having to undergo emergency surgery days before your first 100K race. It sounds like something that would be scary to come back from, but our guest today not only had that happen to him, but he also came back stronger than ever as he ended up finishing that same 100K a year later, qualified for Boston twice, and finished three 100 milers. Henry Howard is an ultrarunner, endurance coach, and content creator with Runspirited. He has completed numerous ultramarathons, and he helps endurance athletes reach their own goals and finish races as well.
