Today’s pod is a Candid Conversation with return guest, former award-winning executive producer at Funny or Die and author of “OMG WTF Does the Constitution Actually Say?” Ben Sheehan. Ben has written a modern day breakdown of our founding documents that explains everything we never learned in school in an easily digestible book filled with humor. In his previous episode we discussed the first 12 Amendments, the first 10 which we call the Bill of Rights and the last two which were the amendments ratified prior to the Civil War. This time we take a look at America 2.0 post civil war and Amendment 13-27 with a special focus on the very ‘of the moment’ 14th Amendment. This is a fun way to learn what we should probably already know with a bunch of context mixed in.
