Lawrence Dallaglio shares memories of his childhood, teenage years and the personal circumstances that led him to take up rugby, reflecting on how much it helped change the course of his life, and why it led to him founding his charity, Dallaglio RugbyWorks.
Alongside Lawrence’s story we also hear from the charity’s CEO, Zenna Hopson, on how RugbyWorks supports excluded and disadvantaged young people across England and Wales, Paul Bashir from Harrison Street Europe who, as an employer supporter, shares why he has been so impressed by RugbyWorks and how being involved with the charity has also benefitted the experiences of his own employees. Plus, two former participants, Ryan Davies and Starr Stanford, explain how their lives have been transformed by the RugbyWorks programme and how they have now come full circle working as coaches for the charity, supporting and mentoring others going through similar challenges.
More information about the work of the charity can be found online at www.dallagliorugbyworks.com
