Among the World Health Organization’s plans to “better protect citizens” is to globalize the European Union’s vaccine passport, making an international standard for proving vaccination status as a ticket to board plans and visit other countries. This comes as the World Health Assembly continues to move towards a global pandemic treaty, which it hopes to finalize next year.
