拼多多、美团出国叫啥？盘点出口海外的中国APP

今天我们聊聊some apps in China that have become popular around the world（中国一些出国的APPs）。

1. 在国外出圈已久的Chinese APPs
● 抖音（TikTok)
The name TikTok is derived from the English words "ticktock", which represents the sound of a clock ticking.
抖音的英文名取自单词“ticktock”，就是钟表的“滴答声”。

作为一个视频平台，抖音强调 being quick（快）和concise（简短）, 因此TikTok这个名字aligns well with its fast-paced and energetic nature（与它的快节奏和充满活力的本质很一致）。

● 美团（KeeTa）

“拼多多”最近在海外火了，它海外版的名字叫“Temu”(读作 "Tee-Moo")，这个名字来自他们的motto（口号）——“Team Up, Price Down”。
"Temu", is derived from "Team" for the prefix "Tem" and "up" for the suffix "u".
“Team Up, Price Down”意思是joining forces as a team in order to lower prices（组上团，价格就会降下来）。
It means, if we team up, we can work together to keep the price down.
这意味着，如果我们联合合作，我们可以一起把价格降下来。
This motto reflects their goal to reduce costs for its users by leveraging economies of scale.
这个口号反映了他们的核心竞争力——降低价格。

Team up是一个很常用的词组，看几个例子：

超级碗（ Superbowl）期间，拼多多也火了一把。
Temu created a lot of buzz with a Superbowl ad that had the tagline（拼多多用一个超级碗广告引起了很多轰动）：Shop like a Billionaire（像亿万富翁一样购物）.
这个口号意味着people can shop on Temu without worrying about the price（人们可以在Temu上购物而不用担心价格）。
