Episode 128: Open House for the Creative Educator Conference
Are you thinking about snagging your ticket to The Creative Educator Conference? Take a listen to our open house replay, where I dive deep into what is included in the conference, who it’s for, and answer all of your questions!
Should You Attend The Creative Educator Conference? The Creative Educator Conference was built for business owners and creatives looking for high-value content from other speakers, focusing on building a better educational brand. Whether you have paid and monetized education or not, you need to establish yourself in your industry and niche. This conference if for the entrepreneur who knows what they want to teach on, but may just need a little help honing in on their educational opportunities and scale.
This conference was build for educators in the creative and digital space, including coaches, podcasters speakers, course creators, online educators, and marketing educators.
Hear from a past attendee:
“My favorite part about the creative educator conference has to be the community, but not just the fact that everybody is super nice. It’s been truly amazing to be in a room of passionate people about educating others. It’s an amazing thing to be in a room of people who want to serve others—help others. It’s also really cool to have multiple industries combined. This is not just a conference for photographers, it’s not just a conference for wedding planners; there are a ton of creatives in the room and they are all powerhouses in their own ways. The energy has just been amazing—I know I’ve said that word like 5 million times, but yes, this conference has been amazing!” – Victoria Rayburn
The audience is just as knowledgable and helpful to the attendees as the speakers, because everyone attending is an expert in their field. What sets this conference apart is that the attendees are at the same level as our stage educators.
You might be asking yourself, “Well I already have a profitable education business, do I really need this?” The answer is simple, while it’s important to be confident as a leader, the power that communities can have on you and your business will make a major impact.
What Happens at The Creative Educator Conference? Before we kick off our conference, we have a welcome party on Monday night! This is a great place to meet others, get to know them, but also connect with people you may have met online!
Past attendees like Tori Kelner said, “Since the happy hour, I was already sold on having the best time. I felt like I got my investment back just from hanging out with this group.”
The conference will be hosted at a beautiful venue that is about 15 minutes from the host hotel—no worries as we’ve got your transportation covered! Over the course of the two days of the conference, we’ve packed the schedule with education, conversation, and time to connect.
You’ll kick off the morning with a provided breakfast, then jump into the education! From assigned peer groups for provided lunches and panel discussions from our speakers to the education shared from the stage, there will be so much value added to your experience.
If you need to break away to find space, no worries! We have a space for you to escape to take a break!
At night, we break for dinner so you can connect, where we’ve selected a hotel that has walkable restaurant options. After dinner, you won’t want to miss out on our late-night lobby hangs in the host hotel. Those hangouts allow you to connect deeper and start brainstorming with like-minded people. It was so valuable.
If this is your first time attending, I highly suggest pushing yourself to meet as many people as possible (no matter where you are on the introvert-extrovert scale). Don’t be afraid to strike up conversations with those you want to connect with. Along with that, let your walls down here, drop the ego at the door, and come willing to learn from the educators and other attendees.
The Speaker LineupNow to the educators and the topics we’ll be covering! Selecting speakers may be one of the hardest decisions, yet we based this lineup on the requests of last year’s attendees, along with keeping a wide range of topics, and what is relevant to the industry.
If you’re ready to join us in Dallas in January, grab your ticket!
You can also upgrade your experience to our VIP tier where you’ll get priority seating, extra swag, and three weeks of Voxer coaching with me!
Additionally, you can add-on a five-minute speaker slot, where you get to speak to the conference for five minutes, gather photos, and get practice and feedback.
